A free seminar on healthy living will be held Friday at the Salisbury Tutoring Academy.

Maia Smith, who owns Renu Derma on South Main Street in Salisbury, organized the seminar. It will focus on healthy food recipes and cooking, exercise tips and effective skin care.

The Salisbury Tutoring Academy is run by Beatrice RD Hair, who will speak at the seminar along with Ester Marsh, health and fitness director at the Hurley YMCA.

Joshua Harrell, a professional cook, will also be on hand.

The seminar is free and starts at 6 p.m. People can register by calling 704-633-8207 or 704-314-0600. The Salisbury Tutoring Academy is located at 818 Corporate Circle off Julian Road.
