As winter turns into spring, there are a couple of new businesses open in Salisbury and one that has reopened.
Jimmy Clean’s car wash on Jake Alexander Boulevard at Westgate Commons is a fully automated, express car wash. Wash prices range from $5 to $20, but there are specials and a monthly plan is also available.
Monday through Thursdays from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., people can get $2 off any wash.
Customers select what type of wash they want on a touchscreen and can pay with cash or a credit/debit card.
There are also plenty of car vacuums for people to use after going through the wash. There is access to the car wash off Brenner Avenue and Jake Alexander Boulevard.
Jimmy Clean’s hours are Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The phone number is 704-776-4869.
Gift cards are also available.
There is a Jimmy Clean’s in Monroe, too. Check out www.jimmycleans.com for more information.
Dunkin’ Donuts is open on East Innes Street at the corner of Marriott Circle near Interstate 85. The location was previously home to a Verizon store.
A Baskin-Robbins ice cream shop is inside the Dunkin’ Dounts, which has a drive-thru. The hours are 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. everyday.
There is also a Dunkin’ Donuts on Jake Alexander Boulevard near Lincolnton Road.
And Wendy’s on East Innes Street across from the fire station has reopened after being torn down and rebuilt.
The redesign features large windows facing the street and a lounge atmosphere inside with cushioned lounge chairs, coffee tables and a TV.
And the drink machine is one where you can mix and match Coca-Cola products. The parking lot and drive-thru have been redone, too.
The dining-room hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day. The drive-thru is open till 2 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and until 3 a.m. on Friday and Saturdays.
The Wendy’s on Jake Alexander Boulevard, which is owned by the same company as the one on East Innes Street, will be redesigned also.
