Do you know a Good Samaritan? The Civitan Club of Salisbury is seeking nominations for the Civitan Good Samaritan of the Year award.

Nominations will be accepted through March 31 and the award will be presented on April 16.

The Civitan Good Samaritan Award has been presented annually since 1973. It is designed to recognize and honor individuals who have exhibited the characteristics of the biblical Good Samaritan in recognizing a need and responding to it with compassion and assistance.

To submit a nomination, write a letter about the person, telling of his or her deeds, but do not include the person’s name. Attach a cover letter telling the person’s name, your name, address and telephone number and email address, if appropriate.

You may give the nomination to any member of the Civitan Club of Salisbury or mail it to Good Samaritan Award, Civitan Club of Salisbury, PO Box 171, Salisbury NC 28145.
