Are you ready for the next few steamy, stormy days? Looks like we don’t get a nice day until Saturday. But if you’re stuck in an office all day, that’s good news.
Today we have an 80 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, particularly after noon, with a high of 74. Some of the storms could reach severe levels, with gusty winds, heavy rainfall and cloud-to-ground lightning.
Tonight, we’ll have a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 1 a.m., then a low of 59.
Wednesday might be a decent day, with only a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and partly sunny skies. It will rise to 82 degrees. The same chance of rain is expected Wednesday night, with a low of 58.
Thursday’s 30 percent chance of rain will be accompanied by mostly cloudy skies and a high near 79. The nighttime low will be 62, still with that 30 percent chance of rain.
Up to a 50 percent chance of showers and storms on Friday, all day, with mostly cloudy skies again and a high near 81. Friday night still has a 50 percent chance of rain, with a low of 58.
How do you feel about partly sunny and 74 for Saturday? Sounds nice. The low will be around 50.
Look for a similar day Sunday, with a high near 72 and a low of 53.
And what should we expect for Monday? Yep, a 30 percent chance of showers, cloudy skies and a high near 71.
Looks like we’re already stuck in a pattern, and it’s only April.
