Kannapolis Police looking for Charlotte woman involved in Monday shooting

KANNAPOLIS — Police are looking for a Charlotte woman they say was involved in a Monday night drive-by shooting, leaving the victim with multiple gunshot wounds.

The incident occurred around 10:39 p.m. in a parking lot in front of 499 Cabarrus Arms Drive, where the victim, Samuel Smith, was found sitting in the driver’s seat of a white Chevrolet.

Police are looking for Cierra Nicole Roseboro, 22, of the 500 block of West Arrowood Road. Authorities say she was inside a black Crown Victoria that pulled up beside Smith. A black male jumped out of the car, fired several shots at Smith and got back inside.

Information during the investigation led Kannapolis investigators to identify Cierra Roseboro. She is wanted for assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury. The alleged shooter has not been identified, authorities said.

Smith, of the 6500 block of English Hills Drive, remains at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, where he continues to receive treatment for his injuries.
