In light of all the negative publicity about the VA Medical Centers, I would like to tell about my experience with the VA in Salisbury. I had to take my boyfriend to the Va emergency room on Friday May 15. Our experience was wonderful from start to finish. First of all the triage area was very proficient with getting the information needed, the vital signs and getting him back to the ER. Next I would like to especially like to give kudos to our nurse Sherman. He was very soothing, compassionate and very professional. The doctor was attentive, and even had a specialist come to the emergency room to see him. The experience with the pharmacy was efficient also. The only complaint I do have is the parking.

I would just like to say to the staff at the emergency room that day thanks for making an unpleasant experience into a more tolerable one.
