Rowan weather: Another gray day

The higher chances of rain have evaporated, so that today we have just a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Those are more likely after 4 p.m. It will be mostly cloudy again, with a high near 73.

Tonight has another 40 percent chance of storms and showers and a low of 58.

Friday has just a 20 percent chance of showers, and it will be cloudy again, with a warmer high of 81. Friday night’s chance of rain dwindles after 11 p.m. The low will be 61.

We thought it would be clear sailing for Saturday, but now there’s a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 5 p.m. Otherwise, it will be partly sunny and 83. There’s also a 30 percent chance of showers and storms before midnight, with a low of 64.

We hope Mother Nature will be kind to the Pops at the Post crowd. Come on out Saturday night for the annual concert.

Sunday, too, has a 30 percent chance of rain and storms, mainly after 5 p.m. It will be partly sunny with a high near 82. Same chance of rain for Sunday night, with a low of 65.

For the new week, it’s more of the same song and the verses are getting monotonous. Monday’s chance of showers and storms is 30 percent, with partly sunny skies and a very warm high of 86. The 30 percent chance of showers and storms continues Monday night, with a low of 67.

Tuesday’s chance of storms and showers is 40 percent, and it will be partly sunny again and warmer, with a high near 88. The low Tuesday will be around 66, still with a 40 percent chance of showers and storms.

And it’s back to a 30 percent chance of showers for Wednesday, with partly sunny skies and a high of 86.
