Roller mill to showcase artist’s work

CHINA GROVE — The China Grove Roller Mill on June 14 will showcase a local artist’s exhibit as part of its open house.
The roller mill will showcase Local artist Alan Hinshaw’s exhibit called “Alan’s Art & Soul” from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 14. Hinshaw will be available to discuss his work during the open house.
The event is free and open to the public. The Roller Mill will be open for self-guided tours. Refreshments will be served.
Hinshaw is a 2006 graduate of South Rowan High School. He took art classes in high school and at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. His interests include charcoal, pastels and oil artwork. He’s also found an interest in acrylics.
Most of his paintings feature landscapes and seascapes.
