• An article about the Rowan-Salisbury School System’s policy on non-curricular clubs did not mention how school board members voted on a change to the policy that would have only allowed curricular clubs to meet at the district’s schools.
Susan Cox made a motion to ban all non-curricular clubs in the district. L.A. Overcash seconded the motion, and Cox, Overcash and Chairman Richard Miller voted in favor of the ban.
Jean Kennedy, Josh Wagner, Chuck Hughes and Vice Chair Kay Wright Norman voted against it.
The motion failed, 3-4.
