The Arc of Rowan invites the public to a seminar,“Guardianship 101,” on Tuesday, Oct. 6, at the Easter Seals Office, 620 W. Innes St., 6:30-8:30 p.m.

This seminar will present information from Clerk of Courts Jeff Barger.

The information presented is important for any family affected by developmental disabilities.

Those attending will learn: Reasons for considering legal guardianship, terminology and definitions involving guardianship, an overview of the step-by-step process, necessary documentation to apply for guardianship and alternatives to guardianship. The seminar is free.
