Rowan weather: Rain settling in

Our chance of rain for today is now 100 percent, but it’s not continuous. Thunderstorms are possible this afternoon.
We may have periods of heavy rain, especially in thunderstorms, that could result in some street flooding, so be careful.
The high will be just 67 degrees. Northeast wind will blow at 8-11 mph. A quarter to a half-inch of rainfall is possible. Tonight, the low will be 61, with more northeast wind, picking up to 11-15 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. The chance of rain is 80 percent, with an additional quarter to half inch of rain possible.
Saturday has a 70 percent chance of rain, with clouds and a high of 68. Winds will continue from the northeast at 10-13 mph. A tenth to a quarter inch of rain is expected.
The chance for rain Saturday night is 50 percent. The low will be 62, with more wind at 9-13 mph. Another quarter to half inch of rain is possible.
Sunday, the chance of rain is just 40 percent, but it will still be cloudy, with a high near 70 and more northeast wind around 8 mph. The chance of rain drops to 30 percent Sunday night, with a low of 62.
After a damp weekend, next week looks very good.
Monday will be partly sunny and 76. Monday night will be mostly cloudy, with a low of 60.
Tuesday will be partly sunny, too, and a bit warmer, with a high of 79. Tuesday’s low will be 60 again.
For Wednesday, more sun, with a high of 77 and a low of 59.
And Thursday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 75.
