We’ve found lots of chain restaurants giving free food to veterans and active duty military on Nov. 11, Veteran’s Day.

K&W Cafeterias will celebrate Veteran’s Day on Wednesday, Nov. 11 by thanking  current veterans and active duty military personnel  by giving them their choice of a free entrée.

Military ID or proof of military service will be required.    This offer will be extended to dine-in or take-out customers during dinner from 4 p.m. to closing.

IHOP restaurants will again honor the 22 million veterans currently living in the United States and more than 1.3 million Armed Forces members serving in the military by offering them a free stack of Red, White and Blue pancakes on Veteran’s Day – buttermilk pancakes crowned with glazed strawberries, blueberry compote and whipped topping – free for veterans and active duty military on Veteran’s Day, Nov. 11, from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.

Veterans and active duty military simply show proof of military service to receive their free  pancakes. Proof includes: US Uniformed Services ID Card, US Uniformed Services Retired ID Card, Current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES), veterans organization card (i.e. American Legion, VFW, etc.), photograph of yourself in US military uniform, wearing uniform, DD214, military dog tags, and citation or commendation.

Applebee’s served over 1 million free meals to military veterans and active service members. Applebee’s is again offering a free meal to military veterans and active-duty service members on Veterans Day, Nov. 11. There will be seven entrées to choose from, beverage and gratuity not included. Military ID or proof of service required.

O’Charley’s —A free entree Nov. 11 from $9.99 menu for all active military and veterans with proof of service.

Olive Garden — Free entree fro a special menu of the seven most popular items. Nov. 11 for veterans and active duty military with proof of service. Friends and family with a veteran or active duty member get a 10 percent discount

Outback Steakhouse is honoring America’s military veterans by offering active duty military and veterans a free Bloomin’ Onion and a non-alcoholic beverage. This offer is available to military personnel and veterans with ID. Also receive 15 percent off your purchase from Nov. 12-Dec 31.

Little Caesars Pizza is giving free pizza to all US Armed Forces veterans and active military members this Veterans Day between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m..

This Veterans Day free meal includes both a $5 HOT-N-READY Lunch Combo and a 20 oz Pepsi product.

Sheetz convenience store locations will be giving veterans and active military members a free lunch on Nov. 11.

The Veterans Day free meal will include a 6-inch turkey sub and a fountain drink. A free car wash is also available with this offer, but only at locations that also have a car wash.

Be sure to bring in proof of service to get your free lunch.

Starbucks will be giving out free tall brewed coffees to veterans, active-duty military, and their spouses on Veterans Day.

Krispy Kreme — Veterans and active-duty military can start their Veterans Day off with a free breakfast at Krispy Kreme that includes a doughnut and a small coffee. No purchase is necessary.
