Jim and Linda Sides of Salisbury are celebrating their 50th anniversary. They were married Nov. 9, 1965. Mrs. Sides is the daughter of Evelyn Morris and the late Fred Morris of Salisbury. Mr. Sides is the son of Phyllis Sides and the late Jim Sides Sr. of Salisbury.
Mr. and Mrs. Sides have three children: the late Pamela Christine Sides, Melonie (John) Willis and Brian (Angela) Sides. They have five grandchildren: Kaleb, Owen, Meah, Ellie and Carrington.
Mr. and Mrs. Sides are lifelong residents of Salisbury and are enjoying their retirement years together spending time with family and friends. They are active members of Gospel Light Baptist Church in Salisbury.
To celebrate their 50th anniversary, the couple had lunch with family and close friends at Shatley Springs and have scheduled an anniversary trip to Tennessee.
