Man injured after wreck

A two-vehicle accident occurred around 7:20 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Old Mocksville Road and East Ridge Road.
Witnesses say that the driver of a silver Saturn sedan failed to stop at the intersection and hit a black Nissan Maxima sedan.
The driver of the Saturn, 21-year-old Dwayne Means, was cut out of the car. He was taken to Baptist Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Maxima, 19-year-old Sabrina Moore, suffered minor injuries. Neither was wearing a seatbelt.
Salisbury Fire Department, Ellis Fire Department, and Franklin Fire Department along with Rowan Rescue, Rowan EMS, and the N.C. Highway Patrol responded.
