Rowan weather: Chilly but sunny weekend

Tonight will be mostly clear and cold, with a low right at the freezing mark of 32.
The weekend will be mostly sunny and much cooler, but it will be a good time for all your pre-holiday activities.
Saturday will be sunny with a high of 55 and a northeast breeze around 5 mph. A 20 percent chance of rain sneaks in Saturday night, with cloudy skies and a low of 37.
Sunday will be mostly sunny and noticeably cooler, with a high of 48. North wind will blow at 7-10 mph. Sunday night will be clear and very cold, with a low of 27.
Monday will be sunny again, and cooler, with a high of 46. The low will be 28.
More sun and chilly temperatures for Tuesday, with a high of 54. It should be a fine day for the Southern Rowan Christmas Parade. The parade starts at 3 p.m. in Landis and 4 p.m. in China Grove. Look for a low of 31.
Wednesday is Holiday Caravan day, and marchers should be happy with sunny skies and a high of 53. The parade starts at 2 p.m. in Spencer and 3 p.m. in Salisbury. The low will be 37.
For Thanksgiving, look for mostly sunny skies and a bit warmer high of 57.
At this point, the weather for Black Friday looks cloudy, but with a high of 61. Shop responsibly and buy local.
