The Harvest Moon Ball has become a tradition at Trinity Oaks, and this year’s ninth annual event did not disappoint. Residents enjoyed a magical evening Nov. 5 with family members, staff and a legion of enthusiastic volunteers who made the night possible.

The Salisbury Swing Band, under the direction of Steve Etters, gave their time and talents to provide wonderful big band entertainment. Steve went the extra mile, showing up beforehand to help his wife, Kim Etters, decorate the activity room. Under the guidance of Coach Jim Gantt, the Catawba baseball team was in attendance, along with members of the Catawba softball team. These young men and women served as energetic dance partners for residents, including those who took to the floor in their wheelchairs. Residents dressed for the occasion and enjoyed a special day of manicures, makeup and hairstyling in preparation for the event. Photographer Steve Norman donated his services to take photos of the revelers.

Trinity Oaks appreciates all the volunteers who made the Harvest Moon Ball such a joyful celebration for residents and staff.
