The Pilot Club of Kannapolis is honoring the 50th anniversary of What-A-Burger this year with a Christmas ornament.

The Pilot Club has sold ornaments since 2007 representing historic sites in Kannapolis. Members chose the sign at What-A-Burger No. 10 for the 2015 ornament. The restaurant is in the Midway section of Kannapolis.

Kevin Eagle created the artwork for this project.

Lonnie Riffle, general manager of What-A-Burger Inc., accepted a Christmas ornament from Delinda Rodgers, treasurer, and Pam Carter, co-president of the Pilot Club of Kannapolis.
