• Memorial Service for departed Elks, 2 p.m. Sunday, downstairs downstairs at the lodge, 508 S. Main St.  A 114-year tradition. Open to the public, friends and family of departed Elks are especially invited.

• J.C. Price Post 107 open Friday and Saturday nights,  9 p.m.-2 a.m. Downstairs, use rear entrance. Music by DJ Danny D. $3 single/$5 couple. Casual dress allowed. Must be 21 with proper ID.

• Fieldcrest Cannon Weave Room 6 Christmas Party and Reunion, Dec. 10, 11:30 a.m. at Golden Corral, Concord.

• J.C. Price Post 107 sponsoring Fund-Raising Dance  Sunday, Dec. 6, 9 p.m.-2 a.m. Music by DJ Majik Mike. Dress neat and clean, no athletic gear. Donation $5. Refreshments, door prizes, raffles. Must be 21 w proper ID.
