Uncle Bucks All American Pub & Grub on Main Street in downtown Salisbury has closed its doors.
The restaurant announced its closing on its Facebook page Monday.
In the post from Buck, Judy and Jake, they stated that they have worked 14- to 18-hour days for six days a week since the restaurant opened nine years ago.
“You’ll probably hear different stories ‘rumors’ as to what happened, but, the simple fact of the matter is, we’re tired,” the post stated.
The post also stated that since their sons have moved on with their careers, it was time for them to do the same.
“We always tried to operate as a family business & when most of the family has moved on …….. sometimes it’s just time to let go & move on too!!!!” the post stated.
According to the restaurant’s website, Uncle Bucks opened on Dec. 15, 2006.
The restaurant often hosted bike nights and musical acts such as the Guy Marshall Band, the Urban Pioneers and Husky Burnette.
Buck, Judy and Jake thanked their customers for their business and loyalty in the Facebook post.
The post said Buck and Judy would be taking a little time off before looking for their next endeavor.
