Salisbury

The City of Salisbury will operate on the following schedule for the New Year’s holiday:

• City office buildings, including the Salisbury Customer Service Center and all four recreation centers, will be closed Friday, Jan. 1, 2016.

• The city’s Street Division will not offer limb or leaf collection Friday.

• Transit will not operate on Friday.

• Fibrant Technical Support will maintain regular hours. For assistance, customers may contact Fibrant Technical Support by calling 704-638-5300.

• Salisbury Rowan Utilities’ administrative offices will be closed Friday. If you have a water/sewer emergency after hours or during the holiday, please call 704-638-5339.

• The Salisbury Community Park will be closed Friday, and will otherwise maintain regular hours of 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

Kannapolis

• All city of Kannapolis offices will be closed on Friday in observance of the New Year’s holiday. There will be no delay in garbage, loose leaf or recycling collection.

Spencer

• Town Hall will be closed on Friday. The trash schedule will operate on its regular schedule throughout the holidays.
• Public Works will be picking up stacked leaves and small yard debris until Dec. 31. Please stack leaves on top of the curb instead of in the gutter to keep leaves from stopping up storm drains. Cut all debris into 6 foot-lengths no thicker than 4 inches in diameter and put them on the curb with the butt ends facing the street. Stack leaves and brush separately, as the brush truck will also be running. Starting on Jan. 1, leaves and small debris will have to be bagged. The brush pick-up and leaf vacuum services run Monday through Friday on predetermined routes. People with additional or bulk brush pick-up should call Town Hall for the issuance of a work order.
• The North Carolina Transportation Museum will be closed on New Year’s Day.

East Spencer

• Town offices will be closed on Friday.
• Trash services will be delayed by one day. Pickup will occur on Saturday.

Rockwell

• Town hall will be closed on Friday.
• Trash pickup will occur on Saturday.

Granite Quarry

• Town offices will be closed on Friday.
• Trash pickup will be delayed one day and pickup will be on Saturday.

Faith

• Town hall will be closed on Friday.
• Trash and other services will operate on their regular schedule.

Cleveland

• Town hall will be closed on Friday.
• Trash and other services will operate on their regular schedule.

Landis

• Town hall will be closed on Friday.
• Trash and other services will operate on their regular schedule.

• Area Food Lions will operate on normal business hours Friday.

Harris Teeter

• Harris Teeter will keep its regular hours Friday.

Aldi

• Aldi will be closed on Friday.
