Delta Sigma Theta Salisbury alumnae hold luncheon for breast cancer awareness month

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Salisbury Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated hosted a reception on October 22, 2014. The Chapter celebrated those who have beaten breast cancer, and those who have lost their lives to the devastating disease.  Breast cancer survivors were invited to the reception and honored for their strength, courage and resilience. The survivors honored were Shirley Gilmore-Vincent, Mamie Teasley, Erma Headen, Marilyn Ellis, Valerie Gwynn, Cynthia Stoner, Joann Graham and Maria Cowan.
