Realtors and home builders raise almost $1,000 for Community in Schools

The Salisbury/Rowan Association of Realtors (SRAR) joined with the Salisbury Rowan Home Builders Association (SRHBA) for their holiday celebration held recently at Nashville Nights in downtown Salisbury. Together, the groups raised nearly $1,000 to benefit the Salisbury/Rowan School System’s Communities in Schools.

Alana Wilson of Communities in Schools was present and, with much gratitude, accepted the evening’s donation. She noted that volunteers and mentors are also needed.

SRAR and SRHBA continued their tradition of supporting Rowan Helping Ministries and amassed a collection of canned and shelf-stable foods to be delivered to RHM.
