- Destiny Marie Moore, 23, of Salisbury, and Thomas Mack Frizzell, of Mooresville, were arrested Saturday and charged with attempting to sell drugs to a police officer.
According to the warrant, On Sept. 16, Moore and Frizzell allegedly attempted to sell 74 dosage units of Xanax 2 mg and 30 dosage units of Xanax 2 mg to Detective Fortson of the Mooresville Police department. Both were arrested on Jan. 2.
Moore was charged with selling or delivering a schedule I controlled substance, possession with intent to make, sell or deliver a schedule I controlled substance, simple possession of a schedule IV controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and was placed in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $20,000 bond.
Frizzell was charged with conspiracy to sell or deliver a schedule IV controlled substance and was placed in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $10,000 bond.
- According to warrants, Grover Todd Sartain,14, broke into a house in the 1100 block of Arbor Drive on New Year’s Eve. The victim reported that Sartain allegedly stole an Ultrahigh Power 3800GSC type stungun, a checkbook, a 32-inch Emerson television, an HP laptop computer, a DVD/VCR combo, a PlayStation 2 gaming console, two game controllers, 44 video games, a Black and Decker coffee maker, three diecast NASCAR collector cars, two keys to a motor vehicle and one case of Busch Ice Beer.
Sartain was charged with breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering and carrying a concealed weapon. He was placed in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $1,000 secured bond. He has previously been charged in Rowan County with indecent liberties with a child, communicating threats, driving while license revoked, possession of drug paraphernalia and giving fictitious information to a police officer.
- Mark Edward Durham, 47, was charged Thursday with possession and sale of heroin.
According to the warrant, on New Year’s Eve, Kannapolis police found Durham to be in possession of 1.4 grams of heroin, and tried to sell an unspecified amount to Larry Rollins. Durham was also allegedly in possession of a used syringe, a spoon, and a cotton filter to “prepare and introduce into the body” a controlled substance. According to the warrant, Durham kept a white, 2004 Ford Ranger to keep and sell heroin.
Durham was charged with possession of heroin with intent to make, sell or distribute, selling or delivering heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance and has been placed in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $50,000 secured bond.
