Bobby Dean Sr. and Dollie Phelps Lankford of Woodleaf celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Dec. 23, 2015. Their children planned a special family evening for them beginning with a wonderful family dinner. Afterward, the family shared fun and laughter, a beautiful cake and devotion and praise to God. The evening ended with a Christmas gift exchange.
Bob and Dollie were married Dec. 23, 1965, at Corinth Church of Christ. He is the son of the late Albert and Est-her Lankford, and she is the daughter of Mildred and the late Odell Phelps.
They have two sons, two daughters their sons married and four grandchildren. Dean, Debbie, Amanda and Bailey live in Statesville. Chris, Susan, Dalton and Thaddaeus live in Granite Quarry.
