AnnaCraig Boutique is expanding into the space at 100 W. Innes St. in downtown Salisbury.
The boutique sells women’s clothing store and opened at 117 W. Innes St. in May of 2014. There is also another location in Mooresville that opened in September of 2015.
Bellissimas’s Bridal Boutique was in the property at 100 W. Innes St., but Monica Cameron, owner of the shop, decided to move the business to Winston-Salem.
Drew Myers, owner of AnnaCraig Boutique, said she needed more space for her shop.
“We have something on every inch of the store,” she said.
The boutique offers trendy and modern clothes, jewelry and shoes.
“We have something for everybody,” Myers said.
Myers also has a mobile boutique that she takes to home parties, festivals and other events.
Myers said she likes the location because it is on the corner of two busy downtown streets, which means high exposure and visibility.
She will be keeping both properties, but Myers said she was not sure what she was going to do with the current property once they move everything to the new one.
As far as the new location, Myers said she is going for a “totally different look,” but with the same affordable prices.
“We don’t want people going in thinking, ‘Oh, this looks so fancy. I can’t afford anything in here,’” Bailey Ridenhour, a manager, said. “They’re still going to be able to come in and find the same things, the same prices. We’re just changing our look.”
Myers said she hopes to open the new location some time this spring. They will have a grand opening celebration, during which the store’s new look will be revealed.
