Salisbury boys
Salisbury lost 71-70 at Thomasville in CCC play on Friday when the Bulldogs were fouled on a shot attempt as time expired and made free throws.
Playing without ill D.J. Alexander, Salisbury let a double-digit lead get away in the fourth quarter.
“I thought we were in control, but we didn’t make free throws (22-for-36) and we didn’t take care of the ball,” Salisbury coach Bryan Withers said. “We left a lot of points on the court. It’s a tough loss, but we have to accept it and get better.”
Tre Oats had a career game with 21 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks.
Isaac Baker (17), Alex Yang (12) and Wes Fazia (11) scored in double figures.
