KANNAPOLIS – Mr. Roy Junior Cecil, 68, of Kannapolis formerly of Rowan County, died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006, at Northeast Medical Center, Concord. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Mr. Cecil was born on June 28, 1938 in Montgomery County to the late Adbie Morris Cecil and the late Howard Cecil. He was earlier employed by Thomasville Furniture. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cathy Cecil. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Survivors include sons, Leroy Cecil, Valdese, Clifford Cecil, York, SC; daughters, Phyllis Smith (Stacy), Salisbury, Linda Hill (Timmy), Asheboro, Tammy Casper (John), Gold Hill; brother, Bobby Gene Cecil, Denton; sisters, Christine Marshall, Margie Owens, Grace Cox, Doris Ferrell all of Denton, 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and three step great grandchildren. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Service: A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday with the Rev. Carol Yeager officiating. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Burial: Burial will be at Uwharrie Baptist Church Cemetery in Badin. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Visitation: 10- 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Lyerly Funeral Home. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;The family will be at the home of a daughter Tammy Casper, 120 Casper Rd, Gold Hill at other times.
