MOCKSVILLE – Mr. Marion Frank Harris, 92, formerly of Green Grass Road, died Sunday, December 3, 2006 at Autumn Care of Salisbury. Mr. Harris was born August 3, 1914 in Berkeley County, SC to the late Frank James and Mary Loretta Baylor Harris. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;He was retired from the VA Medical Center in Salisbury and was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church. Mr. Harris was a veteran of the US Army serving during World War II and was a lifetime member of the VFW and DA. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;He was preceded in death by his wife, Olga Lee Smith Harris on November 27, 2004. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Survivors include three daughters, Judy (Ronnie) Sides and Phyllis Bowers both of Salisbury, and Mavis (Kenneth) Baity of Mocksville; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Service: A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Rowan Memorial Park with Dr. Rick Cockerham officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the VFW Memorial Honor Guard. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Eaton Funeral Home is serving the family of Mr. Harris.
