CLEMSON, S.C. — Freshman Trevor Booker scored 19 points on 8-of-10 shooting from the field to lead Clemson to a 90-66 win over Wofford on Tuesday night.

The Tigers (10-0) led by nine with 15 minutes left in the second half before pounding the ball inside to go on a 15-5 run that put the game away.

K.C. Rivers scored 18 points, Vernon Hamilton had 13 points and six assists, and Cliff Hammonds added 10 points and five assists for Clemson, which will take nearly two weeks off, not playing again until Dec. 19 against Georgia Southern.

Fla. State 82, Stetson 63

DELAND, Fla. –Toney Douglas scored 16 points to lead Florida State to an 82-63 victory over Stetson.

The Seminoles (6-2), fresh off a victory over defending national champion Florida, used their depth to wear down the Hatters.

BATON ROUGE, La. — Glen Davis scored 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to help No. 9 LSU beat sixth-ranked Texas A & amp;M 64-52 on Tuesday night.

The first loss of the season for the Aggies (7-1) also came against their first ranked opponent. Texas A & amp;M had won 14 regular season games previously and had not lost since being eliminated by LSU in the second round of last season’s NCAA tournament.

No. 22 Oklahoma State 72, No. 21 Syracuse 68

NEW YORK — Mario Boggan had 21 points and eight rebounds and Oklahoma State remained unbeaten at 10-0 by holding off a rally by Syracuse in the Jimmy V Classic.

JamesOn Curry of Oklahoma State had 20 points, including the 3-pointer from the top of the key with 22 seconds left that ended Syracuse’s 12-0 run that had wiped out all but one point of a 67-54 lead.

Syracuse freshman Paul Harris almost made his Madison Square Garden debut a memorable one as he led the comeback by the Orange (7-2), scoring nine of his 11 points over the final 3:45.

No. 17 Marquette 65, Delaware State 48

MILWAUKEE — Jerel McNeal scored 16 points to help Marquette beat Delaware State.

It was the 150th career victory for coach Tom Crean, in his eighth season at Marquette.

No. 24 Xavier 88, Detroit 55

CINCINNATI — Josh Duncan scored 25 points and led a 3-point flurry that swept Xavier to an 88-over Detroit, giving the Musketeers an emphatic return to the Top 25.

At 7-1, Xavier is off to its best start in 10 years and back in the Top 25 for the first time in more than three years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. — Former South Carolina standout Bobby Cremins wasn’t sure this summer he wanted to coach against his alma mater. The Gamecocks’ Brandon Wallace made Cremins and the College of Charleston wish they hadn’t.

Wallace had career highs with 22 points and eight blocks to lead the Gamecocks (5-2) to a 67-55 victory Tuesday night, ruining the homecoming of the Cougars new coach.

N. Carolina A & amp;T 92, St. Andrew’s 58

GREENSBORO — Steven Rush scored 18 points to help North Carolina A & amp;T defeat St. Andrew’s 92-58.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Ramel Bradley had a career-high 23 points and six 3-pointers as Kentucky defeated Chattanooga 79-63.

Georgia 96, G-Webb 67

ATHENS, Ga. — As an alumnus of the University of Georgia and an Atlanta native, Rick Scruggs says he keeps up with Georgia.

Georgia’s 96-67 rout of Gardner-Webb on Tuesday night gave Scruggs, a 1979 graduate, an up-close update on the progress of his alma mater.

UNC Wilmington 59, East Carolina 44

WILMINGTON — Todd Hendley scored seven of his game-high 15 points during an 11-2 stretch late in the second half to lead UNC Wilmington to a 59-44 victory over East Carolina.

Hendley made 5-for-11 from the field and converted all five of his free throws.
