SALISBURY – Amelda Sides Foster, 64, died unexpectedly Thursday, Nov. 30, 2006, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Born Aug. 20, 1942, in Rowan County, Mrs. Foster was the daughter of the late Hugh R. and Laura T. Sides. She was educated in the Rowan County schools and attended Concordia Lutheran Church. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;A homemaker, Mrs. Foster loved yard sales, gardening and caring for animals. A special love was caring for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Miles. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Oscar Lee Foster; sons Darren Lee Foster of Orlando, Fla. and Russell H. Foster (Sheri) of Salisbury; daughters Kaye Miller (Mark) of Mocksville and Amy Timberman (Eddie) of Salisbury; grandchildren Samantha, Kristina, Elizabeth, Laura, Ethan and Jill; great-grandchildren Georgie, Daija and Ean; and special friend & quot;CoCo, & quot; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Service: 3 p.m. Sunday in Northcrest Chapel of Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home, China Grove, conducted by the Rev.
