SANFORD – Lillian Louise Porter Thomas, 94, of 3212 Green Valley Drive, died Monday, Dec. 11, 2006, at Central Carolina Hospital. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Born in Rowan County, Mrs. Thomas was a daughter of the late Albert Alexander Porter and Emma Lou Hoover Porter. She and her husband owned and operated Thomas Refrigeration Company for 37 years. A retired CNA, she was previously employed at Convalescent Care of Lee County. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Mrs. Thomas was a member of Jonesboro United Methodist Church for more than 60 years and was a member of the Amy Womble Sunday School Class. She also served as a nursery Sunday School teacher and was a quilter with the women’s quilting group of the church. She was also a Cub Scout and 4-H leader. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Preceding her in death were son Neal A. Thomas, brother John A. Porter and sisters Elizabeth P. Smith, Amelia P. Cannon and Grace P. Price. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Survivors include husband Roger Neal Thomas; son Jimmy Thomas and wife Renee Watson Thomas of Sanford; daughter Betty Cameron and husband Ricky of Sanford; sister Evelyn P. Gibson of Salisbury; grandchildren Tommy Cameron, Jacquelyn T. Worrell, Freddie Cameron, Brian Cameron, Casey Thomas Dew and Kristie Thomas McNeill; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Graveside service: 3 p.m. Thursday, Buffalo Cemetery with the Rev. David Banks officiating. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Wesley Center of Jonesboro United Methodist Church following the graveside service. At other times, the family will be at the residence. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Memorials: Jonesboro United Methodist Church, 407 W.
