CHINA GROVE — Robert Lee Brady, 95, 1055 Kimball Road, died Friday (Dec. 22, 2006) at Hospice House of Cabarrus.

Born Sept. 7, 1911, in Rowan County, Mr. Brady was a son of the late John Lee and Eva Morgan Brady.

Educated in the Rowan County Schools, he retired after 35 years with Linn Corriher Mills. He was a member of Mount Moriah Lutheran Church.

Survivors include wife Pauline Garver Brady, whom he married in 1942; sons Robert Allen Brady, Selma, James Lee Brady, China Grove, and Vern Eugene Brady, Concord; brother C.L. “Doc” Brady, Gold Hill; sister Janet B. Howell, Gold Hill; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A service was held Saturday (Dec. 23, 2006) at Mount Moriah Lutheran Church, conducted by the Rev. Joseph Tallent. Burial, church cemetery.

Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home, China Grove, was in charge.
