​​Alan and Ann Dandison of Salisbury are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Mariann Dandison, to Evan Vonatski of Raleigh.

Mariann is the granddaughter of Sister Susie Dandison, RSM of Mocksville, and the late John Dandison and the late Vernon Wilkerson and Carolyn Wilkerson. A 2008 graduate of Salisbury High School, Mariann graduated cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and a minor in Economics. She works as a product development analyst at IAT Insurance Group.

Evan is the son of Gary and Patricia Vonatski of Quogue, N.Y., and  Helen Denniston and Tim Carey of Eastport, N.Y. A 2006 graduate of Eastport South Manor High School, Evan graduated magna cum laude from Campbell University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. He is employed as a client services associate at TriMark Digital.

The wedding is Oct. 15, 2016 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Salisbury.
