Julianna Richey Shaver

ROCKWELL – Julianna Richey Shaver, 82, of Rockwell, died Monday, Dec. 25, 2006, at the home of her granddaughter in Hiddenite.
Born Dec. 21, 1924, in Reno, Ala., Mrs. Shaver was the daughter of the late Simpson and Genevieve May Ausman Richey. She was educated in the Birmingham, Ala. schools and at Rowan Technical College.
Mrs. Shaver was a member of the Episcopalian faith and Rufty-Holmes Senior Citizens Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Eugene Shaver, on Dec. 19, 1982.
Survivors include her children, Candice James and husband Otis of Statesville and children Amy Wagner and significant other Brian Bunner, and McKenzie James; Frances Ann Shepherd and children Anna and Bobby Shepherd; Pamela Eve Wilson and husband David of Silver Springs, Md., and children Courtney Linnell and Jessica Wilson; Julianna Davidson of Ontario, Canada; and Harold S. Cain of Las Cruses, N.M. and daughter Andrea Helms; and one great-grandchild.
Mrs. Shaver will be cremated. Summersett Funeral Home is serving the family.
