SALISBURY – Annie Virginia Pepper Smith, 70, died Saturday Dec. 16, 2006 at her residence.

She was born March 29, 1936 in Rowan County to the late Beulah Ketchie and Joe Pepper. She was retired from Cartex and Cone Mills and worked as a waitress for 20 years. She was of the Lutheran Faith.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her son Kenneth Richard Limerick of Salisbury; sisters, Elizabeth Blackmon of Salisbury, Ruby Thomas of Sache, Tex., Peggy Clark of Bessemer City; grandchildren Tim Limerick and Shane Limerick and great-grandchildren Jade Limerick and Trevor Limerick.

Memorial Service: 3 p.m. Wednesday at James C. Lyerly Chapel.
