Childers-McKee Graduation

Cherese Diane Childers- McKee graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro on Friday, May 6, 2016. She received her Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Educational Studies. Her dissertation was titled Crossing Borders and Forging Bonds: Exploring Interracial/Intercultural Relationships among Youth of Color. She plans to continue conducting research, teaching and writing.
Dr. Childers-McKee is the daughter of Christopher and Rená Childers and the granddaughter of Jessie S. Childers of Salisbury. She resides in Charlotte with her husband, Damon McKee and their three children, Zuri, Damon II, and Akili.
