Olivia Gregory Sullivan, 78, Kannapolis, died Dec. 13, 2006, at NorthEast Medical Center, Concord.

Born Dec. 16, 1927, in Pageland, S.C., Mrs. Sullivan was a daughter of the late John and Lula Melton Gregory.

Her family moved to Kannapolis in 1953, and she retired after 35 years in the No. 5 Weave Room at Cannon Mills Plant 1.

Her husband, Ramsey G. Sullivan, died in 1989, and son Joey Thomas Sullivan also preceded her in death.

Survivors include sons Gary, Johnnie and James Sullivan, all of Kannapolis, and Jackie Sullivan, Salisbury; sister Wyoming Gregory, Rock Hill, S.C.; brother Thomas Gregory, Rock Hill, S.C.; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

A service was held Friday (Dec. 15, 2006) at Whitley’s Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. James Pauley. Burial, Bethel Baptist Church cemetery, Jefferson, S.C.
