KANNAPOLIS – Ruby Sheelor Pinkston, 71, of 5963 Yale Avenue, was called home on Friday Dec. 8, 2006 at her residence after weeks of declined health. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Mrs. Pinkston was born in Lancaster County on Sept. 18, 1935 to the late Boston and Salie Sheelor. She was a home health caretaker for Good Health Services and retired from Fieldcrest-Cannon Mills. Plant 1. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and gentle, caring person. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;She is survived by her husband, Charles R. Pinkston; daughter, Darlene Pinkston Alexander of China Grove; son, Robert Jeff Pinkston and wife Sheila of Kannapolis; grandchildren, Osborne Alexander, Demetra S. Grigley and husband Frank, Dante’ Pinkston, all of Kannapolis, Lamonte Alexander and Lisa Shepherd of Rockwell; great-grandchildren, Trenten Grigley and Lashaun Alexander. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Service: 1 p.m. Wednesday at Sills Creek A.M.E Zion Church, Moorseville with the Rev. Jordan Boyd officiating. Burial will be in Sills Creek A.M.E. Zion Memorial Gardens. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Visitation: 12:30-1 p.m. Wednesday at the Church. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Bryant Lytle and Young Funeral home is in charge of the arrangements.
