SALISBURY – Grace Hartman Hill, 86, a resident of Autumn Care Nursing Center and formerly of New London, died Monday, Dec. 11, 2006, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Born Aug. 4, 1920, in Rowan County, Mrs. Hill was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Lillie Earnhardt Hartman. She was educated in the Rowan County schools and was of the Baptist faith. A homemaker, she enjoyed being with her family. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel McCoy Hill, in 1970 and a grandson in 2005. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Survivors include sons Coy Hill (Edna), Kenneth Hill (Becky), Harry Hill (Linda), Billy Joe Hill (Cindy), all of Salisbury, Gary Hill (Joan) of Thomasville and Rick Hill (Deana) of New London; daughter Hazel Charles (Johnny) of Lexington; sister Sally Burton (Sherwood) of Newberry, S.C.; 19 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Service: 2 p.m. Thursday in Northcrest Chapel of Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home, China Grove, conducted by the Rev. Charles Carver, pastor of West Park Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Rowan Memorial Park. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Visitation: 7-9 tonight at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home, China Grove. The remainder of the time, the family will be at the home of son Kenneth Hill at 1520 Mount Hope Church Road, Salisbury. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Memorials: Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home, China Grove, is assisting the Hill family in making arrangements for their loved one.
