MOUNT PLEASANT – Addie Sue “G.G.” Dunlap Hargett, 75, 1650 Mount Pleasant Road W., died Sunday (Dec. 31, 2006) at NorthEast Medical Center, Concord.

Born Nov. 30, 1931, in Union County, she was a daughter of the late Clyde I. and Alice McGuirt Dunlap. She retired from Fieldcrest Cannon, Plant 10 winder room, and Plant 6.

Survivors include her husband, Franklin Eugene Hargett; daughter Belinda H. Lindsey, Mount Pleasant; sons Michael Dunlap, Kannapolis, Frankie Hargett, Concord, Terry Hargett, Mount Pleasant; sisters Agnes Molly Furr, Kannapolis, Geraldene Gray, Mooresville, Ruth Cress, Mount Pleasant and Betty Willis, Houston, Texas; brother Clyde Dunlap, Kannapolis, and Joe Dunlap, Mooresville; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services: 12:30 today, Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel, Kannapolis, conducted by the Rev. Eric Burris; burial, Carolina Memorial Park.
