MOORESVILLE – Edith Bostian Cline, 94, of North Maple Street, died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007, at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center.

Born Oct. 14, 1912, in Rowan County, Mrs. Cline was the daughter of the late William and Ada Rainey Bostian. She was retired from Cartex Mills in Salisbury and devoted her free time to her favorite hobby of quilting.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Jackson Cline, and grandsons Michael Griffith and Tim McNeely.

She is survived by her children, Dorothy Dot McNeely and Lillian Cline Griffith, both of Mooresville; sisters Lela Bost and Lula Wyrick, both of Salisbury; grandchildren Joe Goodnight of China Grove, James Jimmy Goodnight and wife Sheila of Salisbury, Kathy G. Mayhew and husband Rex of Mooresville, Kim G. Rogers and husband Melvin of Mooresville, Vicki M. Brawley and husband Tommy of Mooresville; eight great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Service: Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Rowan Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Bill Simpson officiating. Burial will follow at Rowan Memorial Park Cemetery.
