One of the Salisbury-Rowan Symphony Society’s most popular events, the Big Band Bash, is coming up Saturday, Jan. 6, at Catawba College.

At 8 p.m. sharp, hear a live concert in the Hedrick Little Theatre of music made popular by Jimmy and Tommy Dorsey, Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, and Benny Goodman. Maestro David Hagy will direct.

Afterward is a reception in The Crystal Lounge, with catering by The Right Touch and — of course — dancing.

The event is a benefit for the Salisbury-Rowan Symphony Society. Black tie is optional; tickets are limited. Tickets are $75 each, $63 of which is tax deductible.
