GRANITE QUARRY – Beatrice Livesey Parker Riley, 86, of Granite Quarry, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2007, at Rowan Regional Medical Center.

Born June 20, 1920, in Rowan County, Mrs. Riley was a daughter of the late Abbie Killian Livesey and the late Edward Livesey. She graduated from Salisbury City schools and was retired from Cone Mills. Mrs. Riley was of the Baptist Faith.

Preceding her in death were first husband, Edward Parker and second husband Archie Riley, also brother Edwin Livesey and son-in-law Bruce Atwell.

Surviving are son Archie Charles Riley and wife Patricia of Dickerson, Tx., daughter Phyllis Parker Atwell of Salisbury, eight grandchildren, twenty one great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside service: 2pm Monday at Brookhill Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bruce Graham officiating.

Visitation: 7-8:30pm today at Lyerly Funeral Home.
