SALISBURY — North Hills Christian School, 2970 W. Innes St., will hold its orientation on Monday. The first day of school will be Wednesday, Aug. 17.
With the introduction of Singapore math and the Institute for Excellence in Writing last school year, both math and reading results made significant improvements with both scores 26 points higher than the national average.
North Hills has added a drama program and expanded and upgraded our Latin program.
North Hills is celebrating its 50th year with special events throughout the year. Anyone that attended North Hills should follow our 50th-year Facebook page to keep informed of the events happening on campus.
The school will hold its annual I.M.P.A.C.T. event on April 6, 2017, and will focus on the value of Christian education and how North Hills has changed the world, one student at a time over the last 50 years. Former Board members, faculty and alumni will speak at the event.
North Hills Christian School is a non-denominational college-preparatory Christian day school serving students in junior kindergarten through 12th grade. It is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, a division of AdvancEd, and by the Association of Christian Schools International, an internationally respected organization that is recognized by the North Carolina Division of Non-Public Education.
