Rowan weather: Warmer, less chance of rain

If the forecast is right, today’s our last day in the 80s. We’ll hit 90 Friday, and then temperatures stay in the 90s at least through Tuesday.

The chance of rain has slacked off to 30 or 20 percent for most of the next few days, too.

Today we have a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 5 p.m. Patchy fog may linger as late as 10 a.m. It will be partly sunny with a high of 89. Winds will be calm most of the day, then becoming south at 5-7 mph in the afternoon.

Just a 20 percent chance of rain tonight before 2 a.m. The low will be 72 with south wind at 3-5 mph.

Friday also has a 20 percent chance of showers and storms, after 1 p.m. It will be partly sunny again, with a high near 90 and south wind at 3-7 mph. The low will be a very sticky 74, with south wind around 6 mph.

Saturday will be mostly sunny and 90, with a 30 percent chance of showers and storms, and south southwest wind at 6-9 mph. There’s a 20 percent chance of rain Saturday night, with another warm low of 74.

Sunday will be mostly sunny and 92, with a low of 73.

Monday will be mostly sunny and 91, with a 30 percent chance of storms and showers before 10 p.m. The low will be 72.

The high for Tuesday will be 90, with a 30 percent chance of rain and partly sunny skies. The same chance of rain holds for Tuesday night, with a low of 72.

Wednesday has a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with partly sunny skies and a high of 88.
