Clyde and Vicky Fahnestock of Salisbury are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jodi Lynn Fahnestock of Rockwell, to Charles Mitchell Goodman, son of Bennie and Cathy Goodman of Salisbury.

The future bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Walter Hill of Salisbury and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold Fahnestock of Harrisburg, Pa. Following graduation from South Rowan High School in 2002, Jodi served one year with Brethren Volunteer Service in Havre, Mont. She graduated from Rowan-Cabarrus Community College in 2004 with a degree in early childhood education.

The future groom is the grandson of the late Clyde and Jean Steen, Mr. and Mrs. Monroe Goodman and the late Betty C. Kirk, all of Salisbury. A 1998 graduate of West Rowan High School, Charles also studied information systems at RCCC. He is employed at the Food Lion warehouse.

The wedding is planned for Feb. 24, 2007, at Rockwell United Methodist Church in Rockwell.
