SALISBURY — A silver alert has been issued for a Rowan County man.

On Sunday morning, law enforcement issued a silver alert for Steven Franklin Sigmund, who was last seen at 265 Walter Corriher Road in China Grove.

Signmund was last seen wearing a dark blue rain coat, blue jeans, brown loafer shoes and a black helmet. His vehicle is described as a blue, 2010 Jonway Scooter.

Sigmund described as a 61-year-old man with brown, medium length hair and brown eyes. He is 5’10” and 150 pounds, according to the silver alert.

The silver alert says Sigmund may be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.
