SALISBURY – Marjorie Robertson Martin, 80, of Salisbury, died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2007, at Brian Center and Rehabilitation in Salisbury.

Mrs. Martin was born Oct. 15, 1926, in Malden, Mass., to the late Jenny Grover Robertson and Roy Lee Robertson. She was a homemaker.

Marjorie was a devoted mother and wife. As a young woman she enjoyed cooking, dancing and sharing time with family and friends. In more recent years, she enjoyed receiving cards and visitors and watching gospel music.

All of her adult life she reached out to others, claiming many friends as extended family. Her presence will be missed in the lives of all who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Martin is survived by her husband of 55 years, Mr. Samuel Edgar Martin. A daughter, Kathy Martin Muth, and husband John R. Muth of Salisbury and brother Roy Robertson of Saugus, Mass., also survive her.

Service: A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Salisbury. The service will be conducted by Rev. Kenneth Lance of First Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the Mayodan Municipal Cemetery in Mayodan.

Visitation: The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. Saturday in the church parlor.
