GOLD HILL – Jennie Lee Bunton, 74, of Gold Hill, died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007, at Rowan Regional Medical Center, Salisbury.

Born Dec. 15, 1932, in Ridgeland, S.C., to the late Luther and Mary Scroggins Bunton, Jennie graduated from Ridgeland High School. She worked as a weaver for Cannon Mills Plant 1 and was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include son Michael Allen Miller of Salisbury; daughters Cathy Powles of Salisbury and Barbara Allen and husband Dennis of Gold Hill; grandchildren Lori Allen, Paul Allen, Jennifer Hood, Teri Lynn Powles, Ashley Miller, Lauren Miller, and Mathew Miller; and great-grandchildren Corin Allen, Michael Hood, Eden Hood, Jessica Hood and Mackenzie Hood.

There will be a Memorial Service at a later date.
