Rowan weather: Warm Saturday, then cooler

A little drizzle early this morning made it feel more like fall, and there may be some lingering fog in places this morning.

It will be another mostly cloudy day, gradually clearing and becoming sunny, with a high of 84. North northeast wind at 3-6 mph.Tonight’s low will be 62, with calm wind, which may bring out more fog in the early morning hours.

Saturday will be sunny and hot, with a high of 89. Calm winds will pick up slightly to 5 mph from the north. Saturday night will be partly cloudy with a low of 65.

Sunday has a 20 percent chance of showers after 1 p.m. It will be partly sunny and a bit cooler, with a high of 82. Winds will come from the east northeast at 5-8 mph. The chance of rain Sunday night is 30 percent, with showers before 11 and a chance of rain after that. The low will be 64.

Monday brings a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after noon. It will be partly sunny and cooler yet, with a high of 78. The chance of rain decreases to 20 percent Monday night, with showers and thunderstorms possible. The low will be 63.

Then Tuesday brings a 50 percent chance of showers, with thunderstorms possible after 11 a.m. It will be partly sunny and 80. The chance of showers and thunderstorms Tuesday night is 40 percent, with a low of 62.

For Wednesday, it’s back to a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a high of 79. And the chance of rain Wednesday night is 30 percent, too, with a low of 60.

Thursday should be sunny with a high of 78.
